Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una familia de derivados de fenil-prenilo de fórmula (I) y a su uso en el tratamiento de enfermedades o trastornos cognitivos, neurodegenerativos o neuronales, tales como enfermedad de Alzheimer o enfermedad de Parkinson. La presente invención también se refiere a composiciones farmacéuticas que comprenden los mismos. Además, la presente invención se refiere a los compuestos de fórmula (I) para uso médico, particularmente para el uso para el tratamiento y/o la prevención de una enfermedad o trastorno cognitivo, neurodegenerativo o neuronal, y al uso de los compuestos en la fabricación de un medicamento para el tratamiento y/o la prevención de una enfermedad o trastorno cognitivo, neurodegenerativo o neuronal. (ver fórmula (I)).
