Abstract

La invención se refiere a un proceso para la fabricación y llenado en caliente de un envase de PET que comprende los siguientes pasos: a) proporcionar una preforma de PET capaz de ser moldeada por soplado; b) moldear por soplado la preforma en la cavidad de un molde para formar un envase; c) retirar el envase de la cavidad del molde; d) llenar el envase con un líquido, cuya temperatura es superior a 80°C; e) sellar el envase de un modo hermético; f) esterilizar y enfriar el envase; y g) encoger el envase, caracterizado porque: - en el paso a) se utiliza una preforma de PET compuesta por un copolímero basado en ácido tereftálico; - en el paso a), por lo menos una parte de la preforma se encuentra a una temperatura mayor o igual a 110°C; - la temperatura del molde utilizado en el paso b) es menor o igual a 65°C; y - durante el paso g) el envase se calienta por un duración entre 1 y 5 segundos a una temperatura 52-667.
