Abstract

Un compuesto de matriz frágil, reforzado con fibras, extremadamente dúctil, es de gran valor para estructuras protectoras que puede estar sujetas a cargas dinámicas y/o de impacto. Infraestructuras tales como casas, construcciones y puentes pueden experimentar dichas cargas debido a objetos levantados por huracán, bombas y otros proyectiles. Comparado con el concreto normal y con el concreto reforzado con fibras, el compuesto de la invención tiene capacidad de deformación por tracción sustancialmente mejorada con comportamiento de endurecimiento por tensión o Tracción, varios centenares de veces superior al del concreto convencional y el concreto reforzado con fibras, incluso cuando está sometido a cargas de impacto. La matriz frágil puede ser un cemento hidráulico o un polímero inorgánico. En una modalidad ejemplar de las enseñanzas, los compuestos se preparan al incorporar mezclas puzolánicas, relleno de peso ligero y agregados finos en mezcla fresca de Compuesto Cementicio de Ingeniería, para formar las mezclas resultantes, después colocar las mezclas resultantes en moldes y curar las mezclas resultantes.
