Abstract

Un pozo de petróleo incluye una perforación de pozo (2), bajo el nivel del suelo (4) que se extiende hasta una reserva de petróleo (6) . La perforación de pozo incluye un encasillado (8) dentro del cual está colocada una bomba de cavidad progresiva (PCP) 10 que incluye una entrada (12) en su extremo inferior y está conectado en su extremo superior con el tubo de producción (14). Un ánulo (16) está definido entre la bomba (10)/tubo 14 y el encasillado (8). El ánulo se comunica con la reserva e incluye una cabeza (20) de fluido de reserva. Una formulación basada en agua la cual comprende un polivinilalcohol opcionalmente reticulado puede ser descargada del ánulo (16) y pasar bajo gravedad a la reserva (6), inmediatamente corriente arriba desde la entrada (12). La formulación puede mejorar el funcionamiento y la eficacia de la bomba (10) debido a su capacidad de aumentar la movilidad del petróleo en la reserva inmediatamente corriente arriba de la bomba (10) y/o mejorar la capacidad del petróleo de entrar en la entrada de la bomba. Además, mejorando la movilidad y/o reduciendo el nivel de presión de retroceso cuando el aceite se introduce en la entrada de la bomba (o cualquier otra restricción) el índice de flujo de petróleo de reserva en la perforación de pozo puede ser aumentado resultando en un índice incrementado de producción de petróleo.
