Abstract
Un receptor con estimación de canal basada en DFT que tiene buena supresión de ruido para relaciones de señal a ruido tanto altas como bajas que proporciona ventajas sobre los estimadores de DFT convencionales y los estimadores de Error Cuadrático Medio Mínimo (MMSE). El uso de MMSE puede ser incorporado para la estimación en los bordes de la banda proporcionando mayores mejoras. La señal recibida en el dominio del tiempo, es transformada a la señal recibida en el dominio de la frecuencia vía una FFT de N puntos (501). La señal recibida en el dominio de la frecuencia en los lugares piloto es entonces usada para obtener estimaciones de canal "ruidoso" en los subportadores piloto dividiendo los símbolos pilotos conocidos en (503). Los pilotos uniformemente separados son asumidos sobre una ven1ana de subportadores útiles.
