Abstract

Se proporciona un compuesto útil como un agente terapéutico para insuficiencia renal crónica y un agente terapéutico para neuropatía diabética. Se describe un derivado de ornitina que tiene una actividad antagonista del receptor EP4. En el compuesto, se introduce un cicloalcanodiilo en el término C de la porción ornitina, mediante lo cual las propiedades fisicoquímicas (por ejemplo, solubilidad) del compuesto pueden ser mejoradas grandemente y al compuesto se le imparten propiedades apropiadas como un agente medicinal. El compuesto tiene una buena acción antagonista contra un receptor de EP4, y por lo tanto es útil como un agente terapéutico para insuficiencia renal crónica o neuropatía diabética.
