Abstract
Se describe en la presente un método y aparato para reducir las interrupciones de transferencia de control cuando un dispositivo móvil ejecuta la transferencia de control que incluye un procedimiento de acceso aleatorio. Cuando la transferencia de control es deseable, se determina un desplazamiento de tiempo asociado con una oportunidad de acceso aleatorio. El desplazamiento de tiempo se refiere a la medida del tiempo de la siguiente oportunidad de acceso aleatorio hasta la sincronización de cuadro de un punto de acceso elegido. Con base en el desplazamiento de tiempo, un elemento de red, por ejemplo, un dispositivo móvil, un punto de acceso del servidor, o una entidad de manejo de movilidad, determina un tiempo de inicio de la transferencia de control. La transferencia de control se ejecuta en el tiempo de inicio determinado para alinear en general el comienzo de la ejecución de la transferencia de control con el comienzo de la siguiente oportunidad de acceso aleatorio, y por lo tanto, para reducir la interrupción de la transferencia de control.
