Abstract

Esta invención se refiere a una herramienta manual para eliminar de manera segura derivaciones no deseadas, colocadas de manera fraudulenta y controladas mediante válvulas de bloqueo instaladas en tuberías de conducción de fluidos (especialmente petróleo y sus derivados) y con presiones presentes hasta de 690 kPa (100 psi). La herramienta de la presente invención está conformada por una manivela, un eje manivela, un porta-empaquetadura, un cuerpo principal, una válvula de drenaje, y un adaptador a galga o tapón de madera (denominado "calaján"), el cual es introducido por fricción en la perforación a obstruir, para hacer un sello temporal en la misma mientras se instala y se suelda un parche metálico definitivo (denominado "cascota") a la tubería.
