Abstract
Se proporcionan un dispositivo de modo de transición y método pára uso en un codificador-descodificador (codec) de señal de sonido de tipo predictivo para producir una excitación de modo de transición que reemplaza una excitación de libro de código adaptativo en un cuadro de transición y/o un cuadro que sigue la transición en la señal de sonido, que comprende una alimentación para recibir un índice de libro de código y un libro de código en modo de transición para generar un conjunto de vectores de código independiente de excitación pasada. El libro de código en modo de transición responde al índice para generar, en el cuadro de transición y/o cuadro después de transición, uno de los vectores de código del conjunto, que corresponde a la excitación en modo de transición. También se proporcionan un dispositivo de codificación y método y un dispositivo de descodificación y método que utilizan el dispositivo de modo de transición y el método anteriormente descritos.
