Abstract

Una estructura para edificio giratorio que comprende: un edificio que se extiende verticalmente, que tiene uno o más pisos; un soporte principal fijo para sostener el edificio, ubicado sustancialmente al centro debajo del edificio; un sistema de propulsión anular giratorio para hacer girar el edificio, ubicado más abajo que el edificio y con su centro sustancialmente alineado con la línea central vertical del edificio, el sistema tiene una superficie superior y una superficie inferior plana; y un soporte exterior fijo, ubicado debajo del sistema de propulsión anular, el soporte tiene una superficie superior plana que hace contacto con la superficie inferior plana del sistema de propulsión anular; en donde al menos una de la superficie inferior del sistema de propulsión anular y la superficie superior del soporte exterior fijo es un material de rodamiento, que permite la rotación del sistema de propulsión anular sobre el soporte exterior fijo, de tal forma que el sistema de propulsión anular gire por medio de un sistema de rodamiento de plano a plano.
