Abstract
La invención se refiere a un proceso para la producción de compuestos aromáticos alquilados, que comprende introducir olefinas y compuestos aromáticos en la menos una primera y segunda zonas de reacción catalíticas separadas verticalmente en una unidad de alquilación bajo condiciones de reacción de alquilación para proporcionar un producto alquilado, en donde la segunda zona de reacción catalítica se posiciona por arriba de la primera zona de reacción catalítica; en donde el compuesto aromático de cada una de las al menos primera y segunda zonas de reacción catalíticas, se ponen en contacto con un medio de enfriamiento para re-condensar al menos una porción de los compuestos aromáticos vaporizados a partir del calor exotérmico de reacción del proceso de alquilación; y en donde la olefina se introduce en al menos la primera y segunda zonas de reacción catalíticas vía las primera y segunda corrientes respectivas de alimentación de olefina a velocidades respectivas de alimentación de olefina tal como para mantener las presiones parciales de la olefina en las entradas a al menos las primera y segunda zonas de reacción catalíticas, que varían por menos de aproximadamente diez por ciento. La invención además se refiere a un aparato para practicar el proceso de alquilación de la invención.
