Abstract

Un sistema de circuito cerrado para incrementar el rendimiento, reducir la contaminación de post proceso, reducir la energía consumida durante y después de la extracción de combustibles o contaminantes en formaciones y para secuestrar dióxido de carbono CO2 de varias fuentes que se convierte a un fluido crítico para el uso como un medio de inundación y enfriamiento. Además, un método para secuestrar dióxido de carbono en una formación comprende las etapas de inyectar CO2 en el depósito, inundar con CO2 presurizado frío para la remoción de calor, infiltrar con partículas de catalizador suspendidas de baja densidad ultrafinas de hidróxido de sodio seco en CO2, bombear el CO2 humedecido con agua en el depósito para activar los catalizadores, enlazar el CO2 con materiales reaccionantes y tapar el depósito.
