Abstract
Uno o más parámetros de operación, como el flujo de corriente eléctrica desde, y el flujo de aire hacia, una pila de celdas de combustible dentro de un ensamble de celdas de combustible, se modulan periódicamente durante intervalos de rehidratación para aumentar en forma intermitente los niveles de hidratación de la pila de celdas de combustible, en forma independiente a la demanda de corriente eléctrica en el ensamble de celdas de combustible desde una carga externa, al mismo tiempo que se mantiene el suministro de corriente eléctrica a la carga externa.
