Abstract
La presente invencion utiliza fluidos de dimetil-silicona simples de la viscosidad/distribucion de peso molecular apropiadas, para modificar las propiedades a baja temperatura de los fluidos de hidrocarburos cicloalifaticos. La adicion del fluido de dimetil-silicona a los fluidos cicloalifaticos mejora su funcionamiento a baja temperatura sin degradar las propiedades de resistencia al desgarre elastohidrodinamico requeridas. Los fluidos lubricantes de dimetil-silicona de baja viscosidad combinados con los fluidos de hidrocarburos cicloalifaticos son adecuados para utilizarse en transmisiones infinitamente variables y en otras transmisiones impulsadas por traccion, proporcionando buenas propiedades de flujo a baja temperatura y una alta resistencia al desgarre elastohidrodinamico.
