Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a dispositivo para montar los pilotes asociados con la instalación de una plataforma en altamar soportada por pilotes, tal como una plataforma de producción, en donde estos pilotes son impulsados hacia abajo dentro del fondo o lecho del mar, a través de guías de pilotes sujetadas a la simentación de la plataforma; caracterizado en que comprende: un torno que está dispuesto en ó en conexión con una torre de perforación sobre un equipo de perforación, colocada en el lugar de perforación, para izar los pilotes uno por uno con la cabeza de pilote de más arriba hasta un lugar adecuado por arriba de la plataforma en donde de preferencia los pilotes cuelgan libremente en el cable del torno con una distancia más pequeña al eje central de la plataforma que el extremo superior de la guía de pilote asociada y después de estos se baja el pilote hasta el lecho del mar; un impulsor que está suspendido en el cable del torno para accionar el pilote hacia abajo dentro del lecho del mar; dispositivo que comprende además cuando menos un canalón para guiar oblícuamente el pilote y el impulsor, respectivamente, el cual de preferencia tiene una forma de C ó U en sección y se extiende con una inclinación adecuada hacia arriba desde el extremo superior de la guía de pilote hasta un lugar a cualquier régimen substancial por abajo de la posición en la cual la punta del pilote que se va colocar en la guía del pilote asume la posición que cuelga libremente del pilote.
