Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para medir el tamaño de un pie, caracterizado porque comprende las etapas de: a) medir axialmente un componente de longitudes de un pie a lo largo de un eje longitudinal sobre una línea central de un pie que se extiende entre un punto de talón en la base del talón y la parte media de la punta del segundo dedo, extendiéndose la medición del punto de talón a una intersección con una línea de anchura de pie; b) calcular una línea de anchura de pie que se extiende entre la parte más amplia del pie en la región de cabeza del primer metatarsiano y la parte más ancha del pie en la región de cabeza del quinto metatarsiano; c) determinar un ángulo de curvatura lateral midiendo el ángulo comprendido entre la línea central del pie en el punto de talón y una línea queä se extiende desde el punto de talón hasta la parte más ancha del pie en la región de cabeza del quinto metatarsiano en la línea de anchura de pie; d) determinar un ángulo de curvatura media midiendo el ángulo comprendido entre la línea central del pie en el punto de talón y una línea que se extiende desde el punto de talón hasta el punto más ancho del pie en la región de cabeza del primer metatarsiano en la línea de anchura del pie; y e) comparar el tamaño del ángulo de curvatura lateral con el tamaño del ángulo de curvatura media.
