Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un metodo para formar una masa refractaria usando un aparato de pulverización por llama, caracterizado en que comprende los pasos de: a) formar una corriente de partículas de una mezcla de partículas de un material oxidable, un material refractario y un gas portador; el material oxidable comrpende uno o más de los metales de cromo, magnesio, circonio, silicio y aluminio; b) alimentar una corriente de gas oxígeno teniendo una presión considerablemente mayor que la corriente de partículas, al interior de una lanza nebulizadora o pulverizadora por llama; c) alimentar la corriente de partículas dentro de la corriente de oxígeno para lograr de esta manera una proporción de dilución del gas oxígeno con respecto al gas portador entre aproximadamente 5:1 y alrededor de 30:1; d) mezclar la corriente de partículas y la corriente de oxígeno para formar una corriente reaccionante; e) proyectar o rociar la corriente reaccionante de la laza nebulizadora por llama hacia un revestimiento refractario; f) quemar las partículas oxidables de la corriente reaccionante; g) formar una masa refractaria.The present invention relates to a method for forming a refractory mass using a flame spraying apparatus, characterized in that it comprises the steps of: a) forming a particle stream of a mixture of particles of an oxidizable material, a refractory material and a carrier gas; the oxidizable material comprises one or more of the metals of chromium, magnesium, zirconium, silicon and aluminum; b) feeding an oxygen gas stream having a pressure considerably higher than the particle stream, inside a nebulizer or flame spray lance; c) feeding the particle stream into the oxygen stream to thereby achieve a dilution ratio of oxygen gas to carrier gas between about 5: 1 to about 30: 1; d) mixing the particle stream and the oxygen stream to form a reactant stream; e) projecting or spraying the reactant stream from the flame misting lance onto a refractory lining; f) burning the oxidizable particles from the reactant stream; g) forming a refractory mass.
