Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para dividir en etapas reacciones de compuestos sólido-vapor, caracterizado porque comprende: a. seleccionar una pluralidad de dos o más compuestos diferentes, que comprenden un reactivo sólido adsorbente y un reactivo sólido adsorbido sobre el mismo, en donde cada uno de los compuestos tiene una presión de vapor de reactivo gaseoso diferente, substancialmente independiente de la concentración del reactivo gaseoso, b. colocar un primer conjunto de los compuestos diferentes en un primer reactor y un segundo conjunto de los compuestos diferentes en un segundo reactor, c. suministrar un fluido de transferencia de calor a una primera temperatura, a lo largo del primer reactor, en comunicación térmica con el primer conjunto de compuestos que conduce a una primera presión, por lo cual los compuestos desadsorben el reactivo gaseoso en reacciones endotérmicas, y d. suministrar un fluido de transferencia de calor a una segunda temperatura, inferior que la primera temperatura, a lo largo del segundo reactor, en comunicación térmica con el segundo conjunto de compuestos, y en donde el segundo reactor es operado a una segunda presión, por lo cual los compuestos en el mismo adsorben el reactivo gaseoso en reacciones exotérmicas.
