Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para someter a combustión combustible y oxidante, para lograr una distribución más uniforme de la temperatura, y emisiones reducidas de NO(x), que comprende: (A) hacer pasar una corriente de combustible a través de una zona de combustión; (B) inyectar oxidante hacia la zona de combustión en por lo menos dos corrientes, por lo menos una de dichas corrientes de oxidante siendo inyectadas substancialmente paralelas a la corriente de combustible, y por lo menos otra de las corrientes de oxidante inyectándose en un ángulo con respecto a la corriente o a las corrientes de oxidante inyectadas paralelamente; (C) aspirar gas desde dentro de la zona de combustión hacia la corriente o las corrientes de oxidante angularmente inyectadas y posteriormente hacer fluir la corriente o las corrientes angularmente inyectadas hacia por lo menos una de las corrientes de oxidante paralelamente inyectado; y (D) mezclar la corriente o las corrientes de oxidante resultantes con combustible, para formar una mezcla combustible y someter a combustión a la mezcla.
