Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un aparato para el tratamiento de una emulsión de aceite en agua, que comprende un depósito que contiene una entrada de emulsión, adyacente al extremo superior del depósito, una salida de agua en el fondo del depósito, y una salida de aceite tratado en la parte superior del depósito y un dispositivo de calentamiento; caracterizado porque el dispositivo de calentamiento comprende una cámara de combustión exterior al depósito y una red de tubos calefactores contenidos parcialmente en el interior de la cámara de combustión y que se extiende en el depósito y en la emulsión, para descomponer la emulsión en agua libre y aceite tratado; siendo los tubos calefactores paralelos entre sí y formando un ángulo agudo con la horizontal, tomada como plano de referencia.
