Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un inserto de corte indicable para la maquinación de remoción de rebaba, preferiblemente para fresado, el cual comprende una cara de rastrillo y una cara de tolerancia, siendo provista una orilla de corte en la línea de intersección de dichas caras, comprendiendo dicha cara de rastrillo por lo menos dos bordes alargados adyacentes, los cuales se extienden a lo largo de por lo menos una parte de la orilla de corte, y de donde un primer borde se conecta con la orilla de corte, caracterizado porque cada borde en sección transversal describe por lo menos parcialmente una curva convexa, y porque un segundo borde se conecta con el primer borde y es configurado debajo del primer borde, de tal manera que llega a ser activo después de un desgaste substancial del primer borde.
