Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método para asegurar la intercambiabilidad de las máscaras de sombra y paneles frontales en la fabricación de un tubo de rayos catódicos de color que tiene una máscara de sombra con un patrón central de aberturas montado en tensión sobre un panel frontal plano transparente con el patrón de abertura de máscara coincidente con un patrón de pantalla catodoluminiscente correspondiente sobre una superficie interna del panel, el método está caracterizado porque incluye los pasos de proporcionar elementos de referencia de pantalla asociados con un patrón de pantalla en un panel frontal que es indicativo de un parámetro geométrico del patrón de pantalla, proporcionar un elemento de referencia de máscara asociado con un patrón de abertura de máscara en una máscara de sombra que es indicativa de un parámetro geométrico correspondiente del patrón de máscara, alargar mecánicamente una máscara para alterar el parámetro geométrico del patrón de máscara con relación a aquel del patrón de pantalla, y controlar el alargamiento de manera que el elemento de referencia de máscara logre una relación predeterminada con respecto al elemento de referencia de pantalla.
