Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a composición de emulsión fluoroquímica oxigenada para tratar celulas hipóxicas de tumores, caracterizada porque comprende: un perfluorocarbono con una presión de vapor menor de 5 Torr., seleccionado de compuestos de perfluoro con 9 a 14 átomos de carbono, parcial o completamente condensados, presentes en la emulsión en una concentración de 10 a 90 por ciento en peso/volumen, un agente tensioactivo seleccionado del grupo de las lecitinas, dioles acetilénicos, polímeros de polioxietileno-polioxipropileno, una mezcla de lecitina, glicerina y triglicéridos o una combinación de los agentes tensioactivos anteriores, con el resto de la emulsión siendo una fase acuosa y que la emulsión tiene un margen del tamaño de partículas de 0.005 a 0.20 micras.
