Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a mejoras a proceso para convertir grasas de derretimiento alto en producción alta de ácidos grasos y glicerol que comprende el hidrolizar una mezcla emulsificada de un sebo de res de derretimeinto alto y un aceite vegetal en la proporción por peso de alrededor de 75-90 por ciento de sebo a 25-10 por ciento de aceite, en un medio acuoso, con una lipasa animal o vegetal la cual no es estereospecífica a una temperatura de alrededor de 25-50 grados C y a un pH de alrededor de 4-5.5, y recuperar la mezcla de reacción final consistiendo de ácidos grasos, glicerol y lipasa.
