Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para desasfaltar que permite una recuperación de energía durante la separación de aceite desasfaltado-solvente de desasfaltado, y en el que se somete un aceite que contiene asfalto a una extracción por solvente elegido entre el grupo de hidrocarburos que tienen entre 3 y 6 átomos de carbono y sus mezclas, y se recoge separadamente una fase aceitosa (extracto bruto) y una fase asfáltica (refinado bruto) y se separa el solvente de cada una de estas fases, caracterizado en que la separación del solvente de la fase aceitosa (extracto bruto) se lleva a cabo cuando menos en dos etapas.
