CONSISTE EN LAS SIGUIENTES ETAPAS; 1) ELIMINACION DE HIDROCARBUROS LIGEROS, MEDIANTE UNA DESTILACION FRACCIONADA, A UNA TEMPERATURA POR DEBAJO DEL PUNTO DE EBULLICION DEL ISOPRENO. 2) UNA ETAPA DE EXTRACCION LIQUIDO-LIQUIDO CON UN SULFONADO PARA FORMAR UNA FASE DE REFINADO Y OTRA FASE DE EXTRACTO DE SULFOLANO RICA EN ISOPROPENO, A ESTA ULTIMA FASE SE LA SOMETE A UNA SEGUNDA OPERACION DE EXTRACCION LIQUIDO-LIQUIDO CON CONTRADISOLVENTE. 3) UNA ETAPA DE DESTILACION DE HIDROCARBUROS PESADOS POR ENCIMA DEL PUNTO DE EBULLICION DEL ISOPRENO.
