Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a mejoras en método para probar un cable de distribución para un monitor de tren, para probar la continuidad eléctrica, posibles daños o fallas y similares en un cable de distribución instalado para monitores del tren instalados en una pluralidad de vehículos acoplados entre sí para formar un tren de ferrocarril; los cables sirven para la conexión eléctrica de los monitores con aparatos vigilados dispuestos en cada vehículo del tren, las mejoras caracterizadas en que el método comprende: un primer paso de conectar, cuando menos, una exhibición común para cada monitor instalado en los vehículos del tren; un segundo paso de desconectar un conector del cable de distribución adyacente al aparato vigilado y conectar el conector con un probador, un tercer paso de enviar desde el probador a cada monitor una señal de prueba, que sea el equivalente eléctrico de la señal de salida del aparato vigilado; un cuarto paso de exhibir la información que corresponda al estado del cable de distribución en una exhibición en el monitor.
