Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para espumar bitúmen líquido caliente, en el que la espumación es originada por evaporación de agua en contacto con el bitúmen líquido caliente, caracterizado por mezclar el agua con el bitúmen líquido caliente a una presión que es mayor que la presión de saturación de vapor de agua a la temperatura del bitúmen y después permitir a la mezcla dilatarse a una presión inferior a la citada presión de saturación.
