Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a método de reducción directa a hierro metálico de óxidos metálicos que contienen hierro, caracterizado porque comprende las etapas de proporcionar un reactor de reducción, colocar una primera capa de hierro reducido directamente material (HRD) en dicho reactor de reducción, introducir una capa de óxido metálico en dicho reactor por encima de dicho material HRD, precalentar dicho reactor a la temperatura de reducción y a continuación suministrar gas natural en presencia de un material que contiene oxígeno a dicho material HRD.
