Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a mejoras en un procedimiento para fabricar bujías filtrantes de hollín, las cuales presentan como material filtrante un hilo constituido por monofilamentos muy finos resistentes a altas temperaturas, bobinado en forma cruzada, empleándose un hilo cuyos monofilamentos sustancialmente finos son torsionados en forma de filamentos que a su vez están torsionados en el sentido contrario de torsión de los monofilamentos para formar un hilo, caracterizadas por el hecho de que el hilo antes de ser bobinado es perchado por rotura de las fibras en forma de mechones haciendo pasar el hilo bajo tracción sobre una superficie perchadora en movimiento, definiendo la dirección de desplazamiento de la superficie perchadora y la dirección de desplazamiento del hilo un ángulo a, siendo determinado dicho ángulo en la zona de contacto del hilo con dicha superficie perchadora en función de la torsión de hilo y el número de torsiones por metro de hilo.
