Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a mejoras en un método para hacer un artículo de espuma laminado, caracterizadas en que el método comprende los pasos de: aplicar un adhesivo en una superficie de una capa de espuma compresible; en una cantidad de concentración suficiente a efectuar adhesión, de 30 a 150 gramos de adhesivo por metro cuadrado; poner en contacto la superficie de la capa de espuma que tiene el adhesivo con una capa de material de forro para formar un artículo de dos capas; poner el artículo sobre una platina; tocar la capa de material de forro del artículo de dos capas con, cuando menos, un saliente caliente, a una temperatura suficiente a efectuar fundición, de alrededor de 150 grados C a alrededor de 250 grados C, producir el movimiento relativo de la platina y el saliente caliente para comprimir regiones de la capa de espuma adyacentes al saliente caliente; fundir y contraer las regiones comprimidas de la capa de espuma con el calor de los salientes, durante un período de tiempo de alrededor de 30 segundos al alrededor de 90 segundos, para formar líneas realzadas permanentes en el artículo de dos capas; separar los salientes del artículo de dos capas y solidificar las regiones fundidas contraídas de la capa de espuma.
