The invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular, to cable technology, more preferably, to a technology of manufacturing of conductors in the glass insulation. The process of manufacturing a conductor in the glass insulation consists in heating a wire having form of cable conductor at simultaneous covering thereof with the glass powder particles by wire pulling through this powder at constant mixing thereof and melting of its particles onto heated wire surface and following melting-down of these particles up to formation of the uniform glass covering. The technical result consists in, that the process of wire manufacturing may be a continuous one, and the coalescence of the glass insulation to the conductor length surface is strong and uniform.
