Abstract

The invention refers to the electrical engineering, particularly, to the cable material, especially, to the glass insulated conductors technology.The process comprises wire heating, applying of the glass on the heated wire and subsequent cooling thereof. The glass is applied on the wire in the form of powder by pulling thereof through the continuous mixed glass powder at its simultaneous heating, thereafter the wire with the glass powder particles adhered to its surface is calibrated and heated up to obtain an uniform glass coating.The technical result consists in the local introduction of the glass powder particles into the wire surface relief and into the gaps between the glass powder particles fixed to the wire surface.
