Abstract
The invention relates to the microbiological biotechnology, particularly, to the process for preparation of Pophyridium cruentum red alga biomass which is the source of phycoerythrine, biologically active substances, polyunsaturated fatty acids and exopolysaccharides and may be used for obtaining of raw material for the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry.Summary of the invention consists in that the process includes cultivation of the porphyridium in a sea water-based mediu at the temperature of 24-26°C and continuous illumination, where cultivation lasts 7 days, and the culture illumination is carried out depending on the growth period - 2000 lx in the lag phase and 3000 lx in the other phases, supplementary adding the diterpenoidal compound sclareolin the quantity of 0,01 - 0,015 g/l.The technical result of the invention consists in providing a high productivity level and reducing the cultivation period.
