Description

The invention relates to agriculture and can be used to treat plants and seeds with alternating electric current to increase germination and plant development.

The process of stimulating biological life is known, which consists in treating the object with a magnetic field and an electric current, but beforehand a reference level of the electric current of 1...400 µA is established, and the intensity of the electric current in the range of 1...1000 µA [1].

The disadvantage of this process is its construction and usage complexity.

It is also known the procedure that consists in treating the soil in the plant root area with a continuous current by means of electrodes deep in the soil in the plant root area and maintaining a potential of 3...15 V [2].

Dezavantajul acestui procedeu constă în acţiunea insuficientă a curentului continuu asupra metabolismului celulelor seminţelor şi plantelor. The disadvantage of this procedure consists in the insufficient action of the direct current on the metabolism of seed and plant cells.

The problem that the proposed invention solves is the expansion of the spectrum of electrical treatment of plants and seeds.

The problem is solved by treating plants and seeds with both poles of the electric current, with frequencies of the electric current specific to living organisms, with a value of the intensity of the electric current that leads to the improvement of the metabolism in the cells and to the stimulation of the development processes in the organisms, independent of the electrical characteristics of the ground.

The procedure, according to the invention, consists in the fact that the plants are treated with electric current by means of two electrodes inserted into the soil in the root zone, during the vegetation period, and the seeds are treated after sowing, at the same time the treatment is carried out with alternating electric current with impulses the intensity of 400...500 µA, with the increase in frequency from 1 to 10 Hz, for 2 min, then its decrease from 10 to 1 Hz, for 2 min, the treatment time being 14...20 min, of 2 …3 times a day.

The advantage of the claimed process is that when treating the soil, according to the claimed process, seed germination can be up to 100%, and the leveling of the seed on the ground can be brought up to 5% of its height. In the plants treated according to the claimed procedure, the leaves attacked by the disease return to normal, at the same time the growth of new leaves on them is stimulated.

Thus, the advantage of the claimed process is due to the fact that the formed electroosmosis and electrophoresis processes favor both directions of action on the processes of metabolism in cells or transport in plants.

It should be noted that through the process that represents the closest solution, the effects of electroosmosis and electrophoresis favor the metabolic processes in the cells. As a result, seed germination and sowing leveling are much lower, around 60...70% and 15...20%, respectively.

Exemple de realizare a procedeului revendicat Examples of realization of the claimed process

Exemplul 1 Example 1

Germination and the degree of leveling of the sowing were controlled. It was found that in the seeds from the soil treated according to the claimed procedure, the germination is 100%, while in the untreated - 30%.

The leveling degree of sowing on the treated soil was 5%, and on the untreated soil 50%.

Exemplul 2 Example 2

A chlorophytum was taken during the growing season that had a reduced number of leaves, 90% of which were yellowed.

The soil in the area of the root system was treated according to the claimed procedure for 20 min, 2...3 times a day, for 2 weeks.

It was found that the leaves of the chlorophytum turned green, and new leaves appeared on its stem.

The claimed process can be used to treat seeds from the soil up to their germination stage and plants during the growing season.
