Abstract
The invention relates to the wine industry, in particular to a process for sulphurous anhydride removal from different alcoholic distillates.The process, according to the invention, includes the treatment of alcoholic distillate with hydrogen peroxide in an amount necessary for the oxidation of sulphurous anhydride, ageing of distillate, introduction of calcium carbonate or hydroxide in an amount corresponding to the amount of oxidized sulphurous anhydride, repose and removal of the formed precipitate.
