Abstract
The invention refers to the wine industry, namely to a process for sulphurous anhydride removal from the winy distillate.Summary of the invention consists in that the process includes introduction into the distillate of the carbonate powder or calcium hydroxide in the molar excess of 1,2…1,5 with respect to the sulphurous anhydride in the winy distillate, agitation and removal of the formed precipitate. At the same time, the calcium hydroxide is used in the form of hydrated lime or lime cream. In case when in the distillate is formed a base excess, through it there is bubbled carbon dioxide(IV).
