Abstract

The invention relates to the field of dimensional electrochemical machining, in particular to the technology for production of arbitrary cavities inside the material subjected to machining, and can be used in mechanical engineering in the machining of tough metals and alloys.The tool electrode for dimensional electrochemical machining comprises a cylindrical body (1), covered with insulating material (2), which is separated to one end by a solid dielectric (3) from the cylindrical working part, inside which is made a longitudinal through channel for electrolyte supply. The body (1) and the working part are connected to different electric current sources. On the side surface of the body (1) is made a working part of changeable shape (6) of metallic rubber with parts of various elasticity, which contains in the inner part (7) elastic cables made of corrosion-resistant material (5) and a flexible channel for electrolyte supply to the working part of changeable shape (6), coupled with the longitudinal channel. In the body (1) is made a through channel (8), which communicates with the working part of changeable shape (6) to change the pressure in its cavity.The process for dimensional electrochemical machining includes the electrolyte supply in the gap between the aforementioned tool electrode and the workpiece, connection to the electric current source of the cylindrical working part, execution of a cylindrical through channel or a channel of a preset depth by the method of anodic dissolution, then connection of the working part of changeable shape to the electric current source and execution by the same method of a lateral cavity of preset size by modifying the pressure in the working part of changeable shape.The technical result consists in the possibility of producing cavities of various shapes and sizes.
