Abstract

The invention relates to mechanical engineering, in particular to a tool electrode and a process for electrochemical working of metals.The tool electrode, according to the invention, includes a cylindrical body (2), equipped with an electrolyte feeding pipe (3), the body (2) is made of dielectric material with a semicircular bottom, which is connected to a cylindrical working part (1), placed coaxially, at the end of which it is made an electrolyte outlet hole, inside the body, in the upper part, is installed a conic hollow lens (4) with convex base and two electrodes (7), the lens is filled with a thermosensitive liquid electrolyte (6), oriented with the cone to the bottom of the body and is rigidly fixed by means of a sealing ring (5) with the possibility of its slipping on the inner surface of the body, under the lens (4) is coaxially located a hollow cathode (8).The process, according to the invention, includes the placement of the said tool electrode with the working part on the metal piece attached to the positive pole of the voltage source, supply of electrolyte under pressure into the electrode and outlet thereof through the opening of the working part, by the action of laser radiation with the orientation of the beam to the basis of the lens, with the passage thereof through the cathode to the piece, with the beam focusing on its surface, by slipping of the sealing ring with the lens.
