Abstract

The invention relates to processes for the purification of sewage waters from ammonia nitrogen from livestock and poultry breeding complexes, prevention of eutrophication of basins and may be used at the purification plants.The process includes the chemical treatment of sewage waters with a mixture of magnesium sulphate, monosubstituted sodium orthophosphate and sugar production defecate, the reagents being taken proceeding from the quantity of removed ammonium nitrogen, in kg/kg of NH4 +:at a pH = 8…10, with subsequent decantation of the treated water and removal of the formed sediment.
