Abstract

The invention relates to the field of chemistry, particularly to electrochemical processes for obtaining drimanic sesquiterpenoides that can be used as intermediate compounds for obtaining biologically active products.The process, according to the invention, includes dissolution into an electrolyzer with inert electrodes of a solid electrolyte in a mixture of glacial acetic acid and acetic anhydride taken in the volume ratio of (3...7)...1, dissolution in the obtained solution of drim-7,9(11)-diene, conduction through the solution of a direct current at a temperature of 0...70°C, anodic density of 0.1...4.0 mA/cm2 and voltage of 1...50V, chromatographic control of the reaction running, treatment of the reaction product by dissolution with water, extraction with diethyl ether, isolation and purification of the final compound.
