Abstract
Soiul de gutui (Cydonia oblonga Mill.) Auriu a fost obţinut de la hibridarea soiurilor Campion x Bereţkii, destinat producerii fructelor pentru industrializare şi raionat în Republica Moldova pentru zonele pomicole Centrală, de Sud-Est şi Sud. Pomii sunt de vigoare mijlocie cu coroană larg-piramidală, compactă. Ramurile de schelet sunt îndreptate sub un unghi ascuţit. Înfloreşte în prima decadă a lunii mai. Este un soi autofertil, dar cei mai buni polenizatori sunt soiurile Turunciukskaia şi Urojainaia. Formaţiunile de rod sunt lăstari de creştere şi ramuri de rod. Fructele au formă de mere, uniformă cu greutatea medie de 320-350 g. Pieliţa este fină, netedă, de culoare galben-aurie. Pulpa este de culoare crem, cu densitate mijlocie, fină, suculentă. Fructele conţin 10,52% de substanţe uscate, 6,51% de zaharuri, 0,42% de acizi titraţi, 54,04mg% de substanţe tanante şi colorante, 21,1mg% de vitamină C. Nota degustării produselor prelucrate este 4,4-4,5. Pomii intră pe rod în anul 3 şi rodesc anual. Productivitatea este de 40-50 kg/pom sau 30,0-35,0 t/ha.
