Abstract
Сорт айвы (Cydonia oblonga Mill.) Ауриу получен от скрещивания сортов Чемпион х Берецкий, предназначен для промышленности и районирован в Республике Молдова для Центральной, Юго-Западной и Южной плодоводческих зон.Дерево среднерослое с широкопирамидальной, компактной кроной. Скелетные ветви отходят от ствола под острым углом. Цветет в первой декаде мая. Сорт самоплоден, самыми лучшими опылителями являются сорта Турунчукская и Урожайная. Плодоносит в основном на однолетнем приросте. Плоды имеют форму яблок, одномерные, с массой 320-350 г. Кожица средней плотности, слабопушистая, золотисто-желтого цвета. Мякоть кремового цвета, средней плотности, нежная, сочная. Фрукты содержат 10,52% сухих веществ, 6,51% сахаров, 0,42% титруемых кислот, 54,04 мг% дубильных и красящих веществ, 21,19 мг% витамина С. Дегустационная оценка 4,4-4,5 балла. Деревья вступают в плодоношение на 3 год и плодоносят ежегодно. Урожайность составляет 45-50 кг с дерева или 30,0-35,0 т/га.
