Inventia se refera la procedeele de obtinere a carbunelui activ din coaja de nuca si de modificare chimica a lui si poate fi aplicata pentru obtinerea adsorbantilor, utilizati la epurarea apelor reziduale, a gazelor, la decolorarea lichidelor si in medicina pentru detoxicarea organismului uman. Procedeul de obtinere a carbunelui activ din coaja denuca include maruntirea cojilor de nuca, separarea fractiei de 2…4 mm, care se trateaza cu acid ortofosforic concentrat 87% in raport, respectiv, de 1:4 timp de 2…15 zile la temperatura camerei cu amestecarea periodica, urmata de uscarea la temperatura de 80…100°C timp de 12…16 ore. Apoi granulele de materie prima se activeaza timp de 5…7 ore la temperatura de 380…410°C, se neutralizeaza cu o baza alcalina pana la pH 7, dupa care amestecul se raceste pana la temperatura camerei si se inlatura faza lichida prin centrifugare, iar carbunele activobtinut se spala cu apa demineralizata si se usuca la temperatura de 120°C pana la o masa constanta.
