Abstract

The invention relates to agriculture, in particular to mulching and loosening of soil in gardens.The process for mulching and loosening of soil, according to the invention, includes removal of weeds, covering of soil in the garden using mulching and loosening devices, made in the form of a disk fitted with a toothed harrow, which are installed on stakes with partial overlap in the intervals between the rows of plants of a width of at least 3 m, with periodic movement of devices every 20 days around the stakes with the concomitant loosening of soil.The device for mulching and loosening of soil, according to the invention, is made in the form of a disk, consisting of a wooden frame, made of interlaced plant debris in the form of two concentric rings with a diameter of the outer ring 10 cm smaller than the distance between the rows of plants and a diameter of the inner ring of 10...15 cm, the rings are interconnected by means of four linear elements, placed crosswise, at the same time two elements, which are lined up, are equipped with a toothed harrow, to the half-disk is attached a polyethylene film or plant debris, and to the outer ring of the half-disk are attached flexible elements of a diameter of 10...15 cm and a length of 60...80 cm, formed of bundles of plant or artificial debris, wrapped in polyethylene film and placed in partial overlap.The result of the invention is to provide the mulching of soil with its simultaneous loosening, as well as to facilitate the mulching device movement process.
