Abstract

The invention relates to a plant for flow transesterification of vegetable oils obtaining liquid fuel for diesel engines and may be used in the chemical, processing and food industries.The plant for flow transesterification of vegetable oils comprises reservoirs for vegetable oil (14) and methanol catalysate (13), a transesterification block, capacities for accumulation of ester (33) and glycerine (29), ejectors (10, 19), high-pressure pumps (9, 18), temperature (26) and pressure (17, 25) level sensors (39, 40, 41, 42). The reservoirs for vegetable oil (14) and methanol catalysate (13) are joined with the transesterification block, formed of three cylindrical coaxial reservoirs with common bottom, the central (4) and external (5) reservoirs are provided for the reception and decantation of the reaction mixture obtained respectively after the first and second transesterification stages, into each reservoir there are mounted devices for reception (16, 24) and drainage (22, 31) of the obtained ethers and glycerine discharge branch pipes, at the same time each reception device is made in the form of pipe, onto the lower end of which there is mounted a partially closed dipper, oriented with the slit formed between its cover and bottom toward the wall of the decantation reservoir, the dipper is placed above the reservoir bottom by 0,2 of its height. The drainage devices (22, 31) are mounted so that their open ends are placed below the cover of the transesterification block. Between the decantation reservoirs (4, 5) there is placed a heat exchanger (6), wherein there are mounted two reactors (7, 8), respectively, of the first and second transesterification stages, the inlet of the first reactor (7) by means of the pump (9), the ejector (10) and the cocks (11, 12) is joined with the reservoirs for methanol catalysate (13) and vegetable oil (14) and its outlet with the reception device (16), mounted into the central decantation reservoir (4). The inlet of the second reactor (8) by means of the pump (8), the ejector (19) and the cocks (20, 21) is joined with the reservoir for methanol catalysate (13) and with the drainage device (22), mounted into the central decantation reservoir (4) and the outlet - with the reception device (24), mounted into the external decantation reservoir (5). The diameter of the pipe of the reception device is much smaller in the upper part than in the lower part near the dipper. Into each decantation reservoir there are installed two ether (40, 42) and glycerine (39, 41) level sensors for controlling the reception-drainage speed thereof.
