Abstract

The invention relates to a process for thermal cracking of plastic and rubber waste and a device for realization of the process.The process, according to the invention, consists in that through a feeding system there are introduced waste with dimensions of 15…200 mm into a vertical reactor, they are mixed and decomposed at the temperature of 450…700°C, the pressure of 50…350 mbar, in 25…40% of smoke black, with a purity of 97% and a granulation of 1…10 mm, 25…75% of hydrocarbons, consisting of gases, cracking-petrol with the density at 15°C of 0,7284…0,8200 kg/dm3 and cracking-oil with the density at 15°C of 0,8200…0,9475 kg/dm3, the ratio between the hydrocarbons cracking-petrol: cracking-oil being covered within the ranges (1:4)…(4:1), depending on the chemical composition of waste and on the quantity of the distilled oil, a part of which is distilled into the reactor, providing the regulation of the ratio between the obtained hydrocarbons, the direct heating of waste, heating and preheating of the reactor.The device, according to the invention, includes a vertical reactor (1) for cracking, equipped with a feeding system (8, 18) and an outlet system (9, 19), a spiral mixer (15) with vertical shaft (23), having a drive system (10, 21, 24) fixed onto the cylindrical wall and onto the lower conic part of the reactor (1), a distilled flow distribution unit (22, 39), a heating space (2), wherein there are installed two tubular spiral heaters (5), wherein there circulates the distilled oil, obtained as a result of thermal cracking of waste and plates (4) for orientation of combustion products, and onto the outer wall of the reactor (1) there are tangentially placed two burners (3) and a combustion product outlet pipe-line (26), onto which it is wound a distillation preheater (27), wherein there circulates the distilled oil. At the same time, the reactor (1) is equipped in the upper part with an outlet pipe-line (6), through which the cracking products pass into a cyclone (30), connected to gas cooling-rectification (31, 32, 42), washing (33) and condensation (40) columns. In the lower part of the reactor (1) there is installed a pipe-line (13), through which it is distilled a part of the cracking-oil, through the unit (22, 39) directly on the waste, through a branch pipe (14), into the heating space (2), into the tubular preheaters (5) and into the upper part of the reactor (1), into the preheater (27).
