Abstract

The invention relates to medicine, particularly hepatology and can be used for diagnosis of chronic viral hepatitis D and mixed hepatitis B+C.According to the invention, the method consists in that it is determined the content of nitrates and nitrites in the urine and the content of aspartate aminotransferase in the blood, then it is calculated the value of the ratio between the sum of nitrates and nitrites to the content of aspartate aminotransferase and if the corresponding value is 0.32...0.42 it is diagnosed the chronic viral hepatitis D and if the corresponding value is 0.49...0.53 it is diagnosed the chronic viral mixed hepatitis B+C.
