Abstract

The invention refers to medicine, in particular to the vascular surgery and may be used for treatment of patients with femoral artery occlusion caused by atherosclerosis.Summery of the method consists in that it is made an incision in the thigh 1/3 superior region, there are mobilized the profound, superficial and common femoral arteries, it is stopped the blood circulation through the mobilized arteries above and below the operational field, then it is made a longitudinal arteriotomic incision of the common femoral artery with the incision continuation on the profound femoral artery, afterwards it is carried out resection of the stenosed segment of the profound femoral artery. Then it is mobilized and resected one segment from the large saphena of a length corresponding to the length of the arteriotomic incision made on the common and profound femoral arteries. The resected venous segment is rotated with 180°, then it is longitudinally sectioned the posterior wall of the segment's proximal end of a length equal to the length of the arteriotomic incision made on the common femoral artery and is sutured to the margins of the arteriotomic incision in the form of a flap, and the distal end of the venous segment is end-to-end sutured with the profound femoral artery, then it is restored the arterial circulation and is made the final hemostasis, afterwards the tissues are sutured in layers.
