Abstract

Rezultatul inventiei consta in sporirea productivitatii controlului automatizat si a veridicitatii determinarii tipului si orientarii defectului depistat. ŕThe invention relates to the field of non-destructive control, namely to a ultrasonic defectoscopy procedure of welding cords. The ultrasonic defectoscopy procedure of the welding cords consists in the fact that at least one inclined coupling transducer 1 and at least one inclined reception ultrasonic transducer 2 are installed on the surface of the controlled piece 3 so that their emission and reception directions intersect in the area of control of the welding cord 4, 5. The emission of the ultrasonic pulses and the reception of the echo signals is realized by all the inclined translators in each working stroke of the defectoscope. The echo signals from the control area of the cord, received by all the translators, are selected according to the reception time and their amplitude is recorded. Comparing the amplitudes of the received echo signals, which correspond to a single ultrasonic pulse in each control race with the level of rejection sensitivity, set separately for each echo signal, the presence of the defect is determined, and its type and orientation is determined by the number and location of the transducers, which have recorded the echo signal from the defect. The result of the invention consists in increasing the productivity of the automated control and the veracity of determining the type and orientation of the detected defect. à
